Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "We are making overall preparations to save the people from various natural calamities including thunderstorms, floods, tidal waves, cyclones, cyclones, and tornadoes." I have a long-term plan for this. I am also implementing these step by step.

On Sunday (May 23), 110 multi-purpose cyclone shelters, 30 flood shelters, 30 district relief warehouses-cum-disaster management information centers, and five Mujib forts were inaugurated at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on the occasion of Mujib Year.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the video conference from Ganobhaban. He said the Awami League is working for the people. Through this work we have been able to establish the country as a developing country. I am also making arrangements to provide food, clothing and shelter. We are making semi-finished houses and houses capable of dealing with disasters. We have set up relief warehouses to deliver food to the people in times of disaster.

The Prime Minister said, "We know this is a delta, we have to deal with disasters all the time." Man-made disasters also come. We are moving forward by tackling everything. Bangabandhu said Bengalis cannot be kept under control. In fact, we could not be suppressed. You can't go. We are moving forward, tackling all the disaster crises.

At that time, criticizing different parties including BNP, the Prime Minister said, after 1975 different parties have formed the government in different ways. But no one took any action to deal with the disaster. We are doing that. We want to take Bangladesh forward.

"We are working on how to deal with disasters around the world," he said. The whole world sees Bangladesh as an example in dealing with a disaster. It is a source of pride for us.

Calling for compliance with the hygiene rules in Corona, the Prime Minister said, "You will always wear a mask." Wash your hands. Follow your own hygiene rules for your own caution. Encourage others as well.

The Prime Minister emphasized doing one's own work to take the country forward, especially the youth themselves to create their own employment.

He said another cyclone "Yaas" was coming. We have started taking precautions. If everyone is careful, we can reduce it.

State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief. Senior officials of the ministry including Enamur Rahman were present. The Prime Minister spoke to the beneficiaries of the three virtual Upazilas of the country.
